The S²AY Rural Health Program has received funding through the APPALACHIAN REGIONAL COMMISSION PROGRAM to provide in-school dental services through the use of a mobile dental program to those children without access to dental care in Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben Counties.

Recognizing the importance of oral health and specifically the linkage of oral health and general health and well-being, the S²AY Rural Health Network  partnered with the  Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency (FLHSA)to assess existing dental services and gaps in services.  The assessment included Allegany, Cayuga, Chemung, Livingston, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates Counties.  To access the study click here
