The Regional Worksite Wellness Committee was established from the completion of the Community Health Assessments and Community Health Improvement Plans (CHIP). All of the Network counties included some type of worksite wellness initiatives in their CHIPs. The committee strives to coordinate efforts between counties to create a central resource for worksite wellness initiatives.

The Finger Lakes Worksite Wellness Committee is established to:
· Increase awareness of the benefits of workplace wellness programs
· Provide education and support for health promotion in the workplace

National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) - Through a grant from the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, Public Health staff in each of the S2AY Network counties have been trained in the NDPP. NDPP is an evidence-based lifestyle change program for preventing type 2 diabetes. The Tobacco Action Coalition of the Finger Lakes (TACFL) - a program of the American Lung Association, is a grassroots coalition of local agencies and individuals working together to reduce the prevalence of tobacco use and to promote healthy communities. TACFL serves Ontario, Seneca, Wayne and Yates counties in New York State. The Coalition is funded by the New York State Department of Health Bureau of Tobacco Control.
