Pivital Public Health Partnership is a non-profit affiliation of eight county Public Health Departments in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, including Chemung, Livingston, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates Counties.
We focus on improving the health and well-being of Finger Lakes residents by promoting health equity in populations who experience disparities.
WHAT WE DO
Enhance public health practices: Public health is core to who we are and what we do. We are made up of public health experts, administrators and providers, all focused on the common goal of making our region the healthiest in the State. We enhance the great work that local health departments are doing by filling gaps where they lack resources and connections to address issues, and using data and analysis to guide our efforts.
Convene partnerships: We are good alone, but better together. It’s in our DNA that we are connectors; we connect partners to each other and stay connected with partners so we’re in tune with our regional health issues and activities.
OUR FOCUS
We believe partnerships help us accelerate improvements across the region by leveraging resources, expertise, and energy to achieve better outcomes than any one organization can achieve on their own. Learn more about our focus areas by exploring Community Health Improvement Plans and learning about our Regional Workgroups.
