The Finger Lakes Regional Early Childhood Coalition (RECC) is a regional consortium of constituents involved in early childhood services for developmental delayed children and their families.
The purpose of the RECC is to bring partners together who have a stake in the provision of care for children in the Early Intervention and Preschool Services Programs. The objective of the RECC is to "create a forum for dialogue among partners that will lead to strengthening of the quality of services provided to children in the Early Intervention and Preschool Services Programs".
Constituents on the RECC are appointed by each county and include one CPSE Chair, a provider of Early Intervention/Preschool Special Education Services, a parent/caregiver of a child with special needs, and a County Official from the Early Intervention/Preschool Special Education Programs from 11 counties across the region.
The RECC is a project initiated by the S2AY Rural Health Network, Inc. Counties participating in RECC include Allegany, Cayuga, Chemung, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne and Yates.
